Psyop creates animated 3D pop-up book for new commercial
Animation studio Psyop has completed work on an animated pop-up book in a 3D commercial for banking firm JP Morgan Chase, titled ‘Change’.
Creating the spot from concept to final sign off, the studio used Maya and After Effects throughout.
“We kept everything technically very simple and focused on trying to tell the story clearly,” says Tony Barbieri, lead technical director at Psyop. “The bulk of the work came in the modelling stage and developing the overall look. Developing the final look I would say was the most challenging part.”
