Maxon has partnered with Nemetschek Vectorworks, makers of the Renderworks design tool, to launch the new competition.
Open to all professional and student designers worldwide, the competition focuses on three categories: rendering with Cinema 4D, animation with Cinema 4D, and rendering with Renderworks 2011.
The Cinema 4D entries will need to be built on a Vectorworks model.
The resulting renderings and animations will be posted on the competition website and will be judged by a panel of experts – there is a $2,500 Visa gift card up for grabs for the winner of each category, while a prize will also be awarded to the winner of a public vote.
“The addition of the CINEMA 4D render engine has dramatically improved the capabilities of Renderworks and we’re excited to see what our users submit as entries,” says Stewart Rom, chief marketing officer at Nemetschek Vectorworks
