e-on software’s latest update to LumenRT Review for SketchUp allows larger models to be processed with greater speed
The real-time 3D product for arch-viz projects has been updated with an auto-scale lighting feature, which e-on suggests improves performance by anything from 30% to 300% depending on the size of the model.
This does however result in a trade-off in the lighting quality.
Version 1.2 also adds several quality and reliability enhancements to improve overall performance and stability, an example being the promised gain of up to 14 times on pre-processing time.
LumenRT Review for SketchUp and SketchUp Pro currently retails for $195, however, existing LumenRt users are able to download the new release for free from e-on’s website.
The software is also nominated in our Plug-in of the Year category of the 3D World CG Awards 2011.
