Fusion 6.3 released
eyeon goes deeper with volumetric lighting in the latest version of its compositing software

Visual effects software developers eyeon has released Fusion 6.3, the latest version of its compositing software. The point release includes a number of new features including:
- Volumetric lighting – this latest release goes deeper with volumetric lighting, allowing for 3D scenes to light real time deep volume systems and integrate the volumes directly into images with World Position Passes. These volumes can be generated inside Fusion, or imported via EXR
- Colour Science – advances in colour handling and colour tools to aid colour matching, profiling and working with different cameras
- Primatte 5 - for improved auto compute and background colour selection, background lighting adjustment and hybrid rendering
- Lens distortion- implements the 3D Equalizer lens distortion and undistortion, with importing of data and a number of lens models
Fusion 6.3 is available now and costs $2495 per license, with the first year of subscription included.
