The innovative texture-generation tool finally ships after a long period in beta
Filter Forge announces the final release of Filter Forge 3.0, a Photoshop plug-in and standalone app that allows artists to build their own filters in a visual editor or download any of over 8,500 user-submitted filters from a free online library.
This release introduces Progressive Previews. This allows you to see a rough, low-resolution preview of the rendered image immediately, which you can then gradually refine in subsequent rendering passes until the image reaches the final level of quality. Other notable features include a flexible user interface with resizable panels and an improved Bézier curve editor.
Filter Forge is available in three differently priced editions targeted at entry-level, mainstream and professional graphic artists.
