Cinesite’s 2012 internship programme opens for entries
London-based VFX studio Cinesite is now accepting applications for its annual internship programme, Inspire
Cinesite has announced that its annual internship programme, Inspire, is open for applications. Now in its third year, a new technical effects placement is being offered in addition to the usual visual effects spot.
Specifically targeted to graduates with an interest in computer programming and more technical effects, Cinesite’s managing director Andy Hunt added the extra placement to encourage artists with more technical background to consider the VFX industry as a place to develop their skills.
Both placements will run in conjunction with each other and are six-week paid positions which will commence this summer.
“I’m always bowled over by the amount of submissions we receive for Inspire, and every year the quality of entries keeps getting better and better,” said Hunt. “I’m looking forward to seeing how creative the applicants will be, and unearthing a few genius programmers at the same time. Best of luck to everyone who applies.”
The deadline to submit entries is 13 April 2012.
