Vimeo Festival 2012: Show your work to the world!
Calling all filmmakers! If you’ve got a film you’ve been slaving over, now’s your chance to do something with it – enter the Vimeo Festival before 20 February for your chance to win a $5,000 grant or the grand prize of $25,000! Money aside, this festival is a great way to get your work seen by important people in the CG industry
Celebrating the best in online video, the 2012 Vimeo Festival + Awards are jam-packed with new judges, new categories, and new monies… There are 13 categories to enter, from music videos and motion graphics to animation and advertising.
Grants of $5,000 will be awarded to the winners of each category, and a grant of $25,000 will be presented to the winner of the Best Video Award.
You can submit any original work that premiered anywhere online between 31 July 2010 and 20 February 2012, or any original work that has never been premiered.
Dreamwork’s Shelley Page joins the list of high-profile judges
Vimeo has just announced that Dreamwork’s Shelley Page will be one of the judges for this year’s Animation Award. Shelly’s credits, on over 23 feature films to date, include Who Framed Roger Rabbit?, Shrek 1-4, Shark Tale‚ Madagascar and Puss in Boots.
