Emma Ewing from Framestore tells us about her work

Job: Animator
Studio: Framestore, UK
Hired: August 2009
Graduated from: Central St. Martins, UK

What Emma says about her reel

“I was only six months into my course when I applied to Framestore’s internship scheme, so the work on my reel was certainly not perfect or polished. However, I think it demonstrated I had a basic understanding of weight, timing, and so on. I also put in a lot of effort to ensure that my CV was striking and concise.

“I didn’t apply to any other studios. After finishing my two-month internship, I was kept on by Framestore and have been there ever since. My advice would be to do as much as you possibly can [at interview] to demonstrate your passion for the animation industry, as I’m sure that helped my application.”
