Warner Bros has released a new featurette for its upcoming Wrath of the Titans – catch a glimpse of the hellish, two-headed beast now

Starring Sam Worthington, Rosamund Pike, Bill Nighy, Edgar Ramírez, Toby Kebbell, Danny Huston, Ralph Fiennes and Liam Neeson, Wrath of the Titans – the sequel to the 2010 film Clash of the Titans – is due to hit cinemas on 30 March.

The story catches up with Perseus, the demigod son of Zeus, ten years after he defeated the Kraken. He is attempting to live a quieter life as a village fisherman and the sole parent to his ten-year old son, Helius. Power struggles happen and he has to take up his Titan-killing mantle once more when all hell breaks lose.

Warner Bros has released a featurette via Apple showing on one of the hellish fiends from Jonathan Liebesman’s Wrath of the Titans.

The featurette focuses on the mythical beast, the Chimera. One memorable quote from the video is: “This creature really beats Persus’ arse.”

According to Homer’s brief description in the Iliad, the Chimera is ‘a thing of immortal make, not human, lion-fronted and snake behind, a goat in the middle, and snorting out the breath of the terrible flame of bright fire’.

While the Chimera in Wrath of the Titans doesn’t have a goat coming out of its stomach, it does have two heads, fire and the scare-factor!

Judging from the trailers released so far for Wrath of the Titans, it looks like we’re in for a CG smorgasbord of nightmarish mythological creatures, wreaking havoc and making life hell for the heroes.

We can’t wait! Let us know what you think of the film when you see it.
