Free 3D resources: Models for arch-viz scenes
Berlin-based studio xoio has just released more free quality assets to the visualisation community. Get your hands on these wonderful Muji-inspired kitchen assets now and see what else is going for free…
Earlier this year arch-viz studio xoio launched xoio-air – a dedicated microsite for delivering free resources, and it’s been adding more sets of free resources for download ever since. See highlight releases below.
Free 3D models of kitchen accessories
xoio’s latest release is a set of Muji-inspired kitchen accessories. As with actual Muji products, these models are natural and simple in design, they share similar colours and have a Japanese flair and sensibility to them.
All the models are 3ds Max 2010, shaded in V-Ray. For users of other software there’s an OBJ file to help you out.
Free bark texture set
Since we last covered xoio, nine free seamlessly tiling textures of bark have also been made available, complete with normal maps and some bump/displacement maps too.
The download includes the V-Ray 2.1 scene, which works with 3ds Max 2010 and above.
Free leaf texture collection
xoio has also released five leaf textures, complete with alphas and some bump maps.
Free road surfaces – texture pack volume 1
Also, the studio has released ten seamlessly tiling tarmac textures, complete with some bump maps.
xoio launched its free 3D resources site with 65 cutouts of people available via xoio-air, at the beginning of the year.
Download the free 3D resources via www.xoio-air.
