Japanese anime director Shinji Arakami takes on the Starship Troopers universe. Watch the trailer and see bug-splattering action in glorious CG!
A trailer has been released for the upcoming Starship Troopers: Invasion CG film that is slated for 21 July 2012.
The film is being directed by Japanese anime director Shinji Arakami who created the Appleseed and Halo Legends franchises.
With lines like, “Our mission is to clear away the bugs and evac the survivors” and “We are under massive bug attack,” it’s lovely and cheesy – just as it should be!
The animation is exciting and packed full of bug-splattering action. (There’s also a less exciting, more dodgy-looking CG sex scene.)
