Cloud Atlas is an exploration of how the actions of individual lives impact one another in the past, present and future, so the adaptation of the novel was always bound to be lengthy – and at five minutes long, the Cloud Atlas trailer is also epic and hints at the film’s scpoe.
The VFX in Cloud Atlas
From the trailer we can see that the film will touch on key points from the book, and – as you’d expect from a movie directed by Tom Twyker (Run Lola, Run) and the Wachowskis (the Matrices) – the visuals here look stunning. In fact it looks like every shot is a VFX shot here.
Cloud Atlas is definitely one to watch in 2012 and we hope we bring you more on the VFX in Cloud Atlas soon.
The film is scheduled for release in the UK on the 10th October.
