Our exclusive Blender tutorial in the latest issue of 3D World includes 21 hours of video and in-depth instruction on how to build a post-apocalyptic vehicle

In issue 162 of 3D World magazine – on sale now – we have an in-depth Blender tutorial which includes 21 hours of video.

In the tutorial, Alex Telford shows you how to model and texture a post-apocalyptic vehicle. He focuses on topology, modelling and texturing and, although the tutorial aims for a photorealistic result – with pipes, wires, switches and knobs that look like they twist and turn – you can go wild with the design and create something that is imaginative too. This means guns, armour, grunge and more guns.

Once you’ve modelled your vehicle, the tutorial shows you how to texture it and finally covers posing, lighting and composition to show it off.

Here are the first 50 minutes of Alex’s tutorial. white_space_580x20
