Default Pixel Parallax

Hi

Is there any information what parallax values work best on a sony 3D TV? I am used to work between +18 and -20 for cinema. But TVs can have more parallax. is +40 to -20 for a normal shot ok?

The dracula shortfilm has immensely strong parallaxes which would be unbarable in cinema. Does it look good on a sony 3DTV?

thanks, David

Hi David,

I came across your post whilst doing some medical research for a University project.

I'm trying to find out the range of parallax values used in tvs and cinema. I understand from your post that you work in cinema? Is +18 to -20 a standard range?

Also, I'd be interested to know if you received an answer regarding the Sony TVs as this is also part of my research.

I'll be really grateful if you get back to me.

Thanks for your time,
Pavandeep
