1000th Post

So here we are, my 1000th post on the forum. I've been here over the year now, witnessed Buckie's 4000th... 5000th... 6000th...

My deep dark secret? I don't really have anything interesting, but i thought i'd share my identity instead. Sooooo, my name's Chantelle Goubert, I'm from a little rocky island called Guernsey in the Channel Islands, currently (just finished) a BA in Computer Animation at Portsmouth University. Here's me whilst at a mate's 21st Birthday and looking particulary studenty whilst heading off on holiday.

And my workspace atm (aka student desk) which yes, was tidied up before the photo was taken. The mug however does contain the nessesary coffee and Baileys

And here's a couple of the better pics of my work

So hey, not very exciting, but since i don't give info out about me too much, should keep you lot happy for a while And hey, it's proof i'm female

Well, this will be post number one.
Just thought I'd say hello to everyone.

I use 3D Max a lot, both as a hobby and to study at uni. I'm learning Maya and POV-ray (slowly)

I mostly drink coffee and curse.

Default Hello 3D World!

I've subscribed since the beginning (oh okay since issue 4) and finally thought, hey lets get on the forum... and here I am...

My name is Lee I'm 36 (god even I think thats old now). I'm currently working at Cartoon Network UK in London as their 3D generalist doing what ever is required. My weapon of choice is Lightwave and ZBrush 3.1 but due to having to work with external studios the requirement has been moving towards Maya which I have version 8 and I'm learning slooooooooooowly but thanks to Escape Studios the transition between Lightwave and Maya was smooth.

Here I am at my desk...

I'll post up some work later when I get home but I thought I'd say hello

BTW anyone in moderating / supporting the Maya section get ready because I'll be in there like a rat up a drainpipe firing questions everywhere... :P
