Default ZBrush creature challenge - finals

Hi all. Okay, it's time to wrap up your work and present your final creature creations! Remember, this is all about design, not necessarily the finished article; we want to see a poly version (rendered or OpenGL) and a wireframe. Points will be awarded for originality, imagination and cleanliness of poly mesh. This was supposed to be a creature you'd model ready to be detailed in ZBrush (for those who didn't bother to read the rules).

Deadline for entries is this Friday, the 8th, so you can all do your voting over the weekend - we'll announce the winner on Monday.

SJ

as it's only two days - will the judging be only on the mesh intself or on posing etc too?

You know, I was about to make a post saying Oh no, we need more time! It was supposed to be April 22nd!

But then I figured, this is exactly the sort of thing that happens in the industry all the time, isn't it? So bring it on, let's see what happens as the deadline suddenly gets closer...

If people need a bit more time, I'm happy to extend the deadline to midnight on Sunday for posting finals, then we'll have votes on Monday. We go to press on the 15th, so we need it done before then!

Can we have two images please: your pose/render/OGL 'hero' image, and a wireframe of the mesh to show your working. Remember, this is for over $700 worth of ZBrush kit, so no apologies for ignoring images that don't adhere to the rules!

What size render are you looking for? Bigger is better, obviously, but how big? 3k x 2k, something like that?

I've been giving more priority to creativity than poly count, and I'm way over 9000 polys now - is that going to be an issue?
