Attendees of the Fedcon 2009 sci-fi convention were treated to a showing of this opening video, showcasing an impossible meeting between the USS Enterprise and the USS Kelvin, the two leading ships in the new Star Trek movie.
The whole thing, apart from the soundtrack, is the work of Tobias Richter of The Light Works.
‘Since these two ships would have never been able to meet,‘ says Tobias, ‘this is just a “what if” variation. Because, as you know – in SciFi, anything is possible.‘
